Ground Rules
We agree to build an environment that invites candour and reflection. To this end, we’re asking everyone to practice radical acceptance, refrain from judgment and choose a constructive and supportive mindset. Label behaviours, not people.
Feel free to share the memories of your own reflections after the retreat, but maintain the confidence of others after we leave.
We encourage you to minimize distractions during the retreat to make the most of your experience. While we understand that some participants may need their phones on hand for emergencies, we ask that you avoid using them whenever possible. Phones can often distract from the intention of being present—whether it's connecting with others, taking action, or finding rest. Consider keeping your phone in your car or tucked away when not needed, allowing yourself the space to fully engage with the retreat.
Share the space. If you’re a naturally gifted talker, ask more questions. If you’re nervous about speaking, imagine the small steps you can take to reveal a little more about yourself.
Nothing is mandatory, but we ask that you show up for dinner. You’ve chosen to be here, but you can choose to use this time as you see fit. If a nap, a snack or a walk during an afternoon session would get you closer to your intention, then do that. Just be careful that your busy mind isn’t inviting you into avoidance. Our minds are experts at resisting our attempts to bring them to rest.
Ride Still is unaffiliated with any spiritual, religious, ideological or political movements. We encourage connection through group rides, meditation, conversation and great meals without any agenda or objective.
Bloom Holistic Retreat seeks to offer you a safe space for introspection, reflection, healing and rejuvenation. It aims to reflect the values of home and is not a hotel, spa, resort or vacation destination. Bloom is drug and alcohol free, shoe free, (please bring house slippers), and scent-free.
